Giles Insurance strengthens healthcare team with appointment of Paul Lewis from Simplyhealth

Giles insurance group are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Lewis as Director in its recently launched Healthcare team.  In this role Paul will be responsible for developing Giles’ healthcare offering in the South of England and Wales and working closely with Giles’ healthcare team in Manchester.

Paul joins Giles following a 19 year career at Simplyhealth, a leading UK healthcare provider.  His most recent role was as Intermediary Sales Manager for the South of England and Wales, where he successfully managed a team of face to face and telephone consultants.  Prior to that he was a Broker Consultant responsible for relationships with key brokers such as Rossborough, Oval, Jelf and JLT.

This hire continues the senior recruitment drive undertaken by Giles since Brendan McManus joined in April 2012 illustrated by the appointments of Alan McEwan, Bernard Mageean and Simon Pearce.  The Group intends to continue to focus on attracting the most talented professionals in the industry to its team as well as focusing on developing its current highly capable staff.
