Fifth welsh acquisition for Giles

Giles Insurance Brokers continues its successful expansion into Wales with the completion of its fifth acquisition in as many months.

The latest acquisition, AGM Insurance, follows news last month of two acquisitions in the same week, those of Ton-Pentre-based Paul Murphy Insurance Services and Hancock General Insurance Services, based in Newport.

Launched in 1984, AGM Insurance, based in Taffs Well, employs eight staff from its offices in Castle House on Cardiff Road. As one of the leading commercial brokers in South Wales, with an established reputation locally and further afield, AGM Insurance is another sound acquisition for Giles.

Mike Jones, manager for Giles in Wales, said: “South Wales is one of a number of key areas in which we are keen to grow our presence.
