Insurance brokers 'must work together'
Commercial insurance

The British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) has called on brokers to work together and develop the sector.
Speaking at the body's annual conference last week, chief executive Eric Galbraith said brokers must take back some responsibility from the regulator and present themselves as united with one strong voice.
He also called on the government and Financial Services Authority to avoid imposing additional costs and requirements on the sector, warning that this could harm the industry and the wider economy.
"We are a sector which is really part of the DNA of business: We have the 'X factor'," Mr Galbraith commented.
"Value it and help us maintain our position nationally and internationally in the market."
The BIBA conference brought together some of the biggest players in insurance for business and other areas of the industry.
It was attended by more brokers than ever, who left with a good feeling, Mr Galbraith added.
