Many charities are missing out on opportunities to boost the loyalty of donors online, a new report by dotMailer has claimed.
The study, entitled Hitting the Heart, assessed the online donations facilities and homepages of 15 of the UK's top charities.
Cancer Research UK came top of the research with 81 per cent, while Save the Children was a close second with 80 per cent.
Meanwhile, Action for Blind People and the British Heart Foundation both garnered 79.5 per cent, reports Brand Republic.
In related news, the London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC) is collecting evidence about the effects of the economic downturn on charitable organisations in London, according to Third Sector.
Peter Lewis, the interim chief executive of LVSC, commented: "We are already hearing that our members across London are seeing an increase in demand for their services, particularly in critical areas such as dealing with debt, housing, mental health and employment."
